Report from Dil Tamang of work in Nepal

Posted by admin, Category: Announcements, Reports,

Dear friends,

Greetings from Dil.

First of all, let me express our collective gratitude to you for your sincere prayers and faithful partnership with us all these years. I do not think it would have been possible for us to continue without your participation.

I had been in the USA for about a month and had to visit the field upon my arrival and thank you for your prayers for me and the team. As you all know, pastor Yam does most of the communications and I remain busy in the field. Nevertheless, you all are in my personal prayers and thoughts always. It has been some time, since I wrote to you and I have been back home now. Pastor Yam is still in Nepalgunj and returns home this night and James is in Bangalore to attend a meeting. Suresh is in Jhapa east Nepal to meet his relatives and Saroj and Top are in the field for outreach with the students. Thank you for your faithful prayers.

I am thankful to you, as we were in the field during a very sensitive time, when people were crazy in the election time. God is good and He protected us from any possible harms. The election was peaceful comparatively and about 70 percent voters cast their votes this time, the highest rate in the history of Nepal. We trust the Lord for every situation, as He is in control.

I am glad to inform you that altogether 57 new Oral churches are being planted in this year through the efforts of our church planters/missionaries. I could not go to all the churches to collect the reports, but could visit some of them, the bigger ones mainly and have taken some pictures. Please find the pictures herewith and let us thank God for His faithfulness and you deserve our appreciation for your faithful partnership and sincere prayers in this effort.

I will be travelling by bus to Dhankuta, east Nepal on the 2nd of Dec and will fly back on the 3rd, since I need to start travels on the 5th Dec. to two remotest districts of the farwest Nepal i.e. Bajhang and Bajura for follow up works. Your prayers will be appreciated.

Thanking you, Dil
