Hi,
TRAINING NATIONALS FOR NATIONALS IN INTEGRITY AND SKILLS (Ps. 78:72)
(Rev 19:6)  “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.”
It has been said that our low view of God is the cause of a hundred lesser evils, but with our right high view of God we are relieved of ten thousand temporal problems.  Simply put, it means that our problems seem really big because our God seems so small.  And the greatest tragedy of life is that our God seems to be getting smaller and smaller with each passing day.  It should be that the more we grow, our God should be bigger and better.  And the more we know Him bigger and better, the smaller will be our problems and the greater will be our love and service for Him.
Our approach to prayer shows up our lack of the right high view of God.  We have not because we ask not, because of our unbelief.  We ask partially and limit Him when our faith is small.  No prayer, no blessing.  Little prayer, little blessing.  More prayer, more blessing.  Much prayer, much blessing.  Prayer reaches up to the Omnipotent , loving and all-wise God who, as our Heavenly Father desires the best for us.  He promises: (Jer 29:11)  “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
A bad habit we have is to rank our requests as big requests and little requests, difficult requests and easy requests.  However, to our Omnipotent God, there are no degrees of difficulty.  In fact, He loves to do the hard things.  For example, our great Lord did feed the 5000 with five loaves and two fish.  He is most lifted up when He does the impossible.  Is there anything too hard for the Lord God, the Creator, Provider and Sustainer of the heaven and the earth (Jer. 32:27)?
The other error of thinking is that God is only interested in life-or-death situation.  Our loving Lord is interested in our everyday small things of life.  He helped in providing refreshment at a wedding.  This reveals that He cares about the little things too.  Yes, He is great because nothing is too hard for Him, but He is also great because nothing is too small for Him.  Therefore we can come to Him in prayer for anything and everything in life, no matter how big or small.  O Lord, teach us to pray!
