Training Nationals for Nationals

Hi friend,

Training Nationals for Nationals in integrity and skills (Psalm 78:72)

We welcome the New Year in retrospection:  “For as much as the LORD has blessed me in times past” (Joshua 17:14).

Yes, we must confess that truly, in blessing, God has blessed us!

He has blessed us in the common blessings of rain and sunshine, health and strength, loved ones and friends, and His loving care and supply.  As Christians, as His children, we have the privilege and joy to come to our Heavenly Father with our joys and sorrows, our ups and downs, and our trials and burdens and He has been with us, in us and for us.

He has blessed us with His promises and presence.  He has guided us with His ever-present Eyes and His all-powerful Hands, in the brightness of our life or in our darkness, and in the calms or in the storms.

Then there are the special blessings that belong to each of us that others have not. While God’s love is strong and sure for all, He has a special way and blessing for each and that each of us knows well.

Perhaps, you might have been disciplined; but then you have been lovingly helped in repentance, restoration and growth.  In His love, He has disciplined you for your good.

Perhaps, you might have been tried; but then, you have been graciously sustained.  His grace has been sufficient.  You may have freedom from trials; then you have much cause to thank Him.  The goodness of the Lord should lead us to praise and serve Him.  We must confess in humility that we have been highly favoured and greatly loved!

We are not what we hope to be, but, thank God, we are not what we used to be.  We have not overcome every sinful urge, but sin has no dominion over us, for we are not under the law, but under His loving grace, forgiving and strengthening us.

We have not seen the good LORD as HE is, but we have seen Him; and the joy of that sight, through His Word, prayer and worship, will never be taken from us.

Yes, all the blessings have come from God Himself.  Our blessings or man’s blessings have been short-lived and changing.  God’s blessings are forever (I Chron. 17:27).  And not just blessings, but blessings indeed, for that which would be “real” blessing would prove, in the end, to be obstacles.

Yes, with holy wonder, gratitude and praise, we will bless the good LORD as long as we live for HE has truly blessed us.

Then with holy confidence, we can say, because HE has blessed us, HE will bless us more and better.  So we come to Him for greater and better days ahead.  He will refresh us with something new and fresh.  HE promises, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth.  Shall you not know it?  I will make even a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isa. 43:18,19).  New possibility?  New journey?  New relationship? New lifestyle of sacrifice and service?

Lord, grant it and we say, Yes, LORD.  Amen!

Class times will be very interactive in our First Module on Principles of Leadership in Nehemiah.  Dates and times are Thursday, March 21, 7pm to 10 pm;Friday, March 22, 7pm to 10pm; and Sat. March 23, 9am to 5pm.  Then the leaders will work on projects of growth and ministry for the next few months.  After that, there will be reports to be made in the next module.  In the interim, the leaders will be followed up by mentors.

The class will be limited to 10-12 leaders for personal attention and for community building.  The first qualification is that you are a growing disciple of Jesus with qualities of FAITH.  You have to know the leading of the Holy Spirit, that this is the training that He is leading you into.  Pastors and leaders may desire to recommend your leaders for this great training.  Please contact me for a conversation.
